Background of the issue:
I am experiencing an issue with WPML where multiple lines of text are being converted into a single line. Support has offered a solution, but redoing all the translations manually will use new credits for the same translations. This issue affects all four of our websites.

Symptoms:
WPML converted multiple lines of text into a single line, requiring manual retranslation.

Questions:
Will redoing the translations manually use new credits for the same translations?
Is there a way to fix the line break issue without using new credits?

Hi there,

The solution to this issue is indeed the one shared in the errata here:
https://wpml.org/errata/line-breaks-are-ignored-when-using-the-advanced-translation-edior/

Are you experiencing this with all your pages, a few select ones? Please try the workaround with at least one page and let me know your results.

Credits should not be used if NO changes are done to the default language.

Also, share with me the name or ID of the job you are testing this with so I can review the credit usage from our side as well.

At the moment there is no other workaround to resolve this.
