This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
If you're experiencing issues where some fields on an options page are not translating and the content reverts to the original language after trying to change it and save, we recommend the following steps.
Solution:
1. Ensure you upgrade to the latest version of Advanced Custom Fields, but make sure to perform a full site backup before doing so.
2. Increase the
MaxInputVars
setting in your PHP configuration to 10000. For guidance on how to do this, please check this article: Setting the Max Input Vars Directive in an .htaccess file.
3. After making these changes, clear all types of caches on your site and check if the issue persists.
If this solution does not resolve your issue or seems irrelevant due to being outdated or not applicable to your case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem continues, please do not hesitate to open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.
