The issue I reported about the shop page filters changing language when applying filter still exists. See reference in this ticket https://wpml.org/forums/topic/wpml-chat-support-ticket-by-alirezam-5-1701949040/#post-15016211

Right now, I get an error when I try to load my shop page. This doesn't happen in my production environment where I haven't installed WPML.

Moreover, I just adapted the colours of my filter, but now that I can open the shop page again, all the colours are gone. This is very unstable. Is there a way to avoid such surprises in the future? Cheers!

thanks for contacting us.

1) Can you please share URL where I can see the issue, and confirm you have translated attributes and products?

2) I see you mentioned you are using HUSKY - Products Filter, which is not on our official compatible plugins list, so some issue can happen. I would advise using plugin and themes that are on our compatible list.

For example for product filters:
- https://wpml.org/plugin/?wpv_view_count=120064&wpv-plugin-functionality=0&wpv_post_search=Products+Filter&wpv-wpcf-recommendation-flag=&wpv_filter_submit=Search

2. This is the plugin that came with the theme I bought. I don't think I can replace it with another plugin and get the same results (at least visually) without hiring a developer. I would very much like to stick to the current design and make it work. Please advise.

thanks for getting back.

1) I can not see the website, as it seems it is not working, giving a server error. Can you please check and let me know when it is working, so I can see the problem and further suggest solution.

2) I understand, we will do our best to help out, but please note since theme/plugin is not on our official compatible plugins/themes list some issues can happen, and it may require contacting and theme author collaboration to help with that problem.

oh, I am sorry, I thought we were talking about a filter issue.

Okay, so let's then keep this ticket on topic about the issue you have on the shop page, and then if needed we will open another one for the filter issue.

Since it says server issue and it happens on your default language, it doesn't necessarily mean it is caused by WPML.

To start I would suggest to

1) Disable all WPML plugins and check if the issue still happens.

2) Go to Settings > Permalinks > Click save changes

3) Let me know if issue still happens when WPML disabled, if yes then it is not caused by WPML and best would be to check with your server support what does error log says, if it happens only when WPML enabled let me know and I will suggest next steps.

no, you will not lose your translation.

But to be safe before making any changes I advise you to make a backup just in case.

thanks for checking and getting back.

Yes, if it working fine without WPML, then it is probably related to WPML.

Please make a full backup of your site (files and database) and confirm it in your next reply.
If possible please provide access to the staging website, not production.

Please note, that I might need to do some debugging procedures like enable/disable plugins, switch themes, change the default language of the user account, and/or access your website database to debug the issue furtherly.

I will share with you any changes or steps done in this process. Please let me know if you do not agree with the above or if I do not have your permission for any.

I would need to access both your site's wp-admin and FTP account, if possible.

I have enabled the private username and password fields in your next reply.

I suggest you create a new user, set it as an administrator and then add those credentials in the private fields mentioned.

You can safely add your information into these fields.

Here is the log that can help you solve the issue. Can you tell with this where the issue is coming from?

`Request exceeded the limit of 10 internal redirects due to probable configuration error. Use 'LimitInternalRecursion' to increase the limit if necessary. Use 'LogLevel debug' to get a backtrace.`

I have already the wp memory and my PHP memory limit, but the problem persists.
