But the site still cannot connect to wpml.org, so the connection issue remains.

I suggest checking the Firewall and whitelisting the following domains to resolve this issue:

- wpml.org
- cdn.wpml.org
- api.wpml.org
- api.toolset.com
- cloudfront.net

Hi Andrey,
I've also created a support ticket at Plesk support. And they have informed me that the underlying issue is a compatibility issue between Plesk and LiteSpeed web server.

I will continue with their support team to see if we can find a solution, but this is apparently not WPML-related.

Thanks for your help, we can close this ticket now!
