This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You were trying to update the translation of a page that previously worked, but received an error message indicating that WPML tried to translate the page three times and failed.
Solution:
The issue is due to an operational problem with Amazon Web Services (AWS) that is affecting several key services, including those used by WPML. This disruption is primarily in the N. Virginia region. We recommend checking the AWS official service health status here. We have contacted AWS Support for urgent mitigation and are actively monitoring the situation. We will keep you updated as we receive more information from our Systems team.

If this solution does not resolve your issue, or if it seems outdated or irrelevant to your case, please open a new support ticket. We also highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. For further assistance, you can contact us directly through the WPML support forum.

I will update this ticket as soon we get a confirmation from our Systems team about this.
