This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The client faced two issues: firstly, after removing the developer mode, it still appeared as a developer's site. Secondly, due to the premature deletion of the previous site, the client was unable to transfer credits to the new URL.
Solution:
1. We advised the client to re-register WPML after changing the domain or domain provider by following these steps:
- Visit https://wpml.org/de/account/websites/
- Remove the old site URL from the list.
- Re-enter the new site URL to generate a new site key.
- Click on "Show key" and copy it.
- Enter the key under Plugins > Add New > Commercial (tab) to re-register WPML. If WPML is still registered, it should be unregistered first.
- Verify at WPML > Support > Installer Support that the site is registered correctly by clicking "Check now".
2. Once the client completed the re-registration, we manually assigned the available credits to the new site.
If this solution does not resolve your issue or seems outdated, or if it's not applicable to your case, please check related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verify the version of the permanent fix, and confirm that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins.
