Our IT support completed Marsel's suggestions and said this:

"Hi, I updated WPML plugin to 4.6.9 version. Yoast SEO plugin seems to have nothing to do with your redirection issue. If you followed same path for the others languages in the past, for this particular case (french), take a look on the multisite feature. You have a French subsite there (SARL) and is a different case than german or chinese. Maybe your issue is related to multisite this time."

I'm unsure how to check the Multisite, but according to our IT everything else appears fine

Hi,

Thank you for contacting WPML Support, I will gladly help you.

I've checked your website URL (hidden link) on hidden link, and as you can see from the attached image, there is a 301 redirection coming from the Yoast SEO Premium plugin.

In the image you'll see:

X-Redirect-By:	Yoast SEO Premium

From the debug info I notice you have Yoast SEO Premium v20.3 and Yoast SEO v21.7 installed, I suggest you try updating to the latest version and check if the issue persists.

* Note: Please make sure you have a full backup of your website before making any updates/changes to your website.

Hi Marsel,

Our IT support looked into YOAST SEO plugin and said this:

"Hi, it seems all Yoast plugins are not working (there's 3 of them). For Yoast SEO Premium in particular there is no active subscription. I also tried deactivating all Yoast plugins but still same result about /fr URL."

Could you help advise us further on this issue?

Hi,

From the debug info you provided, I noticed that you have two plugins Yoast SEO/Yoast SEO Premium and Yoast Duplicate Post, which have different purposes.

I suggest you proceed with the update of any plugin that might require an update on your website. Also, the WordPress version you are using is v6.2.4, I suggest you update to the latest version as well.

After, try clearing the cache of your website (server-side included) and check if the issue persists.
