Background of the issue:
I use the theme: NewsCrunch Plus, active languages: Polish, English. After making some changes to the theme settings (e.g. font size in the entry header), it happens an self-acting change in the language versions of strings in the website theme. Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link

Symptoms:
In the Polish version of the website, English messages are displayed, e.g. "Read more" instead of "Czytaj więcej". Unexpected changes in the language versions of the strings in the domain: admin_texts_theme_mods_newscrunch. Original Polish content is replaced with English and marked as an original language.

Questions:
Why are English messages displayed in the Polish version of the website?
How can I prevent unexpected changes in the language versions of the strings in the domain: admin_texts_theme_mods_newscrunch?

Hi,

Thank you for contacting WPML support. While you are waiting for one of my colleagues to take this ticket and work on it, let me provide you with the first debugging steps and try to help with the issue quickly.

It is probably related to the language you have set in the top bar in your admin before opening theme settings, so each new save of these settings will re-save your strings for translation. I suggest making sure you have made all changes and then go to String translation and translate, if needed select the string, change default language of it and then translate.

Hope this helps.

Regards,
Drazen
