This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is attempting to upgrade to version 5.3.2 of WC Multilingual & Multicurrency but encounters an 'Update failed: undefined' error.
Solution:
1. We recommend following the steps provided by our colleague in an existing support ticket, which can be found here: https://wpml.org/forums/topic/update-failed-undefined-12/#post-14874347.
2. If the issue persists, create a full website backup. Then, disable and uninstall the plugin that is causing the issue. After that, manually download the plugin from the following link: https://wpml.org/download/woocommerce-multilingual-multicurrency/?section=changelog. Next, navigate to your site's backend > Plugins > Add new > Upload, select the zip file you downloaded, and install it manually. This should resolve the error as you are not updating the plugin but installing the new version manually.

If this solution does not seem relevant to your situation, please open a new support ticket here: WPML support forum.

Hi there.

1. Can you please follow the recommendation of my colleague from this existing ticket:
https://wpml.org/forums/topic/update-failed-undefined-12/#post-14874347

2. You could also create a full website backup, then remove this plugin that you mentioned (disable it + uninstall it), then go here (https://wpml.org/download/woocommerce-multilingual-multicurrency/?section=changelog) and download it manually, then go to your site's backend > Plugins > Add new > Upload > select the zip file that you downloaded and install in manually.

That should work perfectly and you should not see that error again because you are not updating the plugin, you are installing the new version manually.

I hope that you will find this information helpful.

Kind regards,
Mihai Apetrei
