WPML creates URLs' duplicates with blank page

davidC-175	Somehow the WPML creates duplicate URLs' of existing pages (often with the "-2" suffix) and those URLs lead to a blank page with no content. It also seems that the number of these blank URLs increases in time. Here is the example list of a few duplicates: hidden link hidden link hidden link hidden link hidden link hidden link hidden link hidden link hidden link hidden link hidden link hidden link hidden link hidden link hidden link hidden link hidden link hidden link hidden link hidden link hidden link hidden link I want to ... 1) remove all blank duplicates 2) prevent from creating any new ones

Dražen Supporter Languages: English (English ) Timezone: Europe/Zagreb (GMT+01:00)	Hello, can you please share a bit more info about the issue, so we can understand it better. 1) What makes you think WPML created them? 2) Are they created after specific steps? 3) Can you check server / SQL logs on what action created these pages? 4) Do these pages exist in the backend: Pages > All? davidC-175	Hello, It's all pages of language mutations so I considered WPML responsible. I tried to turn off all plugins except WPML and WPML String Translation and it seems the blank page is gone and an attachment page is shown instead. See included screenshots. This is super weird behavior. All alternatives except EN are language equivalents of the same attachment page. The EN alternative is a real and properly working page with content. I don't know how and why are those wrong URLs created. If I knew that there would be no need to contact you ... Hence I have no information on when are these URLs created and I can't look into logs to search for cause. So these URLs aren't visible in Pages - All ... as we now know they are attachments. We used also Media Translation in the past - should it be the cause of this behaviour?

I understand your point but try to also understand ours, it is hard to know what is causing it or how it happens, as this is not something that is caused by WPML. Other than that I can only guess what is wrong. Media translation or any part of WPML, should not cause such an issue, and since you say the number and duplicate increase over time, I suspect it is related to some other action or plugin. 1) Is maybe a duplicate created once you resave the default language page or translate it? 2) Do you have any cron/import jobs or similar that could trigger such an issue? 3) I see you are using some Media library plugin, do you use it to run/regenerate some images? Could be it causes some issues with WPML. 4) Try to see if the issue still happens once this plugin is disabled / enabled. 5) As said you are also using some custom themes and custom plugins, so we can not be 100% sure issues are not related to them also. The best would be to try and track when the issue happens or how and then share with us more info on that. Regards, Drazen
