This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The client is experiencing an issue where the language dropdown does not appear on some French product pages in a WooCommerce site integrated with WPML.
Solution:
1. Navigate to WooCommerce → Products and locate the product missing the language dropdown on the French side.
2. Verify if a French translation exists for this product. If absent, add a translation by clicking the plus (+) icon in the French column.
3. Ensure the French translation is complete and published, not left as a draft or pending review.
4. Refresh the French product page to see if the language switcher now appears.
If the issue persists, consider enabling the default language content display when a translation is missing by:
1. Going to WPML → Settings.
2. Scrolling to Post Types Translation and setting Products to Translatable – use translation if available or fallback to default language.
Also, double-check the language switcher settings under WPML → Languages → Language switcher options to ensure it is enabled and configured correctly.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, or if the solution seems outdated or not applicable to your case, we recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins.
