This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is experiencing issues where the WPML plugin cannot connect to wpml.org for updates, and there are problems with translated product category links and untranslated menu items.
Solution:
For the connection issue, it might be a false-positive caused by server caching. We recommend going to Plugins > Add New > Commercial, then clicking the "check for updates" button. If WPML still shows as registered after the page refreshes, the issue is likely just a false positive.
For the issues regarding translated links and menu translations, due to our support policy of handling one issue per ticket, please open a new support ticket for each separate issue.

If this solution does not resolve your issue or seems outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem persists, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.

Background of the issue:
I am trying to resolve an issue where the WPML plugin on my website hidden link cannot connect to wpml.org. WPML needs to connect to its server to check for new releases and security updates.

Symptoms:
My dashboard of website shows: WPML plugin cannot connect to wpml.org. Something in the network or security settings is preventing this.

Questions:
How can I allow outgoing communication to wpml.org to remove this notice?

Hi there.

There's a big chance that what you are seeing is a false-positive that remained in the server caching and the notification will be removed automatically when the cache will automatically clear on its own.

To check if that's a false positive, go to Plugins > Add new > Commercial > click the "check for updates" button and if the page refreshes and WPML is still showing as registered, then yes, that is just a false positive.

Please let me know how that goes.

hidden link

Please click that Faldas link, it shows 404. But when you open my English homepage: hidden link, Please click "Skirt", it's working correctly.

Hi there and welcome back.

Regarding the new issues that you mentioned in the last replies, please note that, per our Support Policy, we can handle only one issue per ticket.

Continuing with one issue per ticket helps not only supporters to focus on one issue at once, but also enables other users to find solutions to their questions faster.

So can you please open a new ticket for any new issue that you encounter (one ticket per issue) so that we can properly focus and tackle each of them?

Thank you very much for your understanding and cooperation.

Mihai
