When I upload a product to Printful (e.g.: a tshirt) with different sizes, I can see all variants in the main language of the website.
Once I try to switch to the second language, the sizes variations disappear.

I tried to:

- Do a workaround I saw here : https://wpml.org/forums/topic/printful-will-not-sync-correctly-with-woo-commerce-with-wpml-multilingual/#post-4124205
"Add product without variation in Printful, sync. Then add variations in Printful, sync." - Not working

- Tried this in here : https://wpml.org/forums/topic/printful-sync/ - Not working

- Tried things in other topics as well, but still not working!

I reached out to Printful and (heavily) motivated them to take contact with WPML to try to fix these issues and make both applications compatible. It's been too long!

BUT,

I thought it might be caused by the fact that the variant slugs translate from "XL" to "XL-fr" for example when translating a slug (screen attached). Is there a way to not translate these slugs in WPML?

As all the topics I saw are at least a year old, is there any workaround that works now ?

Thanks!

Hi there,

Thank you for the information. To be able to make WPML compatible with the Printful service we need their cooperation.

As you already persuaded them to cooperate please contact them and ask to send an email and join our `go global` program here:

https://wpml.org/documentation/support/go-global-program/

That way our compatibility team will be able to help with the integration.

About the point that you mentioned on the slugs, it is not possible to not translate the slug of the variations as it is necessary for WPML.

Thank you.

Hi,

Thank you for your answer.

1. Is there any workaround that is functioning at the moment ?
2. Is there absolutely no way to make these particular slugs not changing at this spot ?

Also, I think you can get ready to have a message from them, when I said "heavily", I was not lying.

Julien

Hi Julien,

Great, our compatibility team looks forward to the developers of the plugin contacting them and they can discuss the compatibility dev to dev.

I did research on the issue and I did not find any solution other than the ones which you already tested.

I agree that most of them are old and that might be the cause. It must be the fact that the new version of WPML and the Printful system are not compatible even if you sync them without and then with variations.

Regarding the variation slugs, no unfortunately it is no possible as WPML is developed in such a way and it is not possible to change that behavior.

The best way forward at the moment is for the plugin developers to contact our compatibility team.

Thank you.
