Hi all,
I have updated WPML and the plugin feedwordpress. How can I tell feedwordpress what is the language from a feed?
I don’t find this configuration option!
Thank you,
daniel
I’m not sure where feedwordpress gets its information from. WPML gets feed languages from the URL. For example, this is our Spanish feed:
http://wpml.org/es/feed/
I hope that I’m understanding your question correctly. If you need more technical help, the best place to get it is in our support forum:

I have found non answer in the forum, although this question has been asked more than once. Since FeedWordPress has been “certified” compatible I would assume the feature exists.
How do I set the proper WPML language field on a new post originating from a FeedWordPress feed? The situation is simple: I have feeds from Italian newspapers, from English newspapers, etc., and I need the posts to have their language set based on the source. Right no my Italian newspaper feeds are posted as English (default language).
Please help.
Dear John,
It takes the language code parameter from the feed source, then it’s set on a new WP post originating from a feed. Example of parameter: < language >es-ES< /language >. Can you please check if there this parameter exists? And, it would be good if you could open a support thread about it in our technical forum so that I can help you properly. http://wpml.org/forums/forum/english-support/
