I recently turned on automated translation of Simplifed Chinese, Japanese, and Brazilian Portuguese of my site. The three pages listed below generate a 404 error for one of the translation versions but not the others. I've checked that the URL slugs are not identical and that I have the latest themes and plug-ins installed. I tried pasting in the code recommended at https://wpml.org/forums/topic/random-404-errors-on-non-default-language-pages/ but that generated a critical error on my site. I don't know what else to try to fix these 404 errors. hidden link hidden link hidden link |

Thank you for the information provided. To properly investigate this matter, I would like to review the issue directly on your website. For this purpose, I kindly request temporary access to the WordPress admin panel (WP-Admin). Preferably, this would be to a test or staging environment where the issue has been replicated, if such an environment is available. You will find the required credential fields below the comment section. Please rest assured that any information submitted there will remain strictly private and accessible only to you and our support team. Additionally, it may be necessary to replicate your website locally in order to perform a deeper analysis in a controlled environment. To do so, we would temporarily install a plugin such as Duplicator to generate a full copy of the site and its content. Once the investigation is complete, the local copy will be removed. Kindly confirm whether this approach is acceptable, and we will proceed accordingly. Thank you very much for your cooperation. Important: |

Good morning, While reviewing the examples you previously shared, we noticed that the 404 error no longer appears on those pages. Could you please confirm whether the issue has already been resolved on your side? If so, we would appreciate it if you could let us know what changes were made to fix it, as this information could be helpful for our records. If the problem is still occurring, kindly share a URL where the issue is currently present so that we can continue investigating it further. Thank you very much for your cooperation. |

Thank you for verifying that these pages work now. I don't know why they work now. I haven't touched the site since I submitted this support ticket. I didn't want to interfere with your work. I have another support ticket open and maybe something another support engineer did fixed this problem as well. |
