My customer has noticed an increase in wait time when viewing listings in the backend.
For example, a custom post type listing (paginated at 50, overall only 102 posts) takes anywhere between 1 and 3 minutes to load.
We've only got two languages on the page, automatic translations via DeepL are active.
I've followed other forum threads on how to troubleshoot performance but most of them aim for the frontend, not the backend.
Please take a good look at my attached screenshots and let me know why that query is performing so poorly and if there's something I can do to remedy it.
Thanks for the quick response!
Did all recommended clean-ups in the troubleshooting section, unfortunately did not help.
Not sure what the index table is in the phpmyadmin that I have, but I've attached the structure and a sample of data - hope that's what you were after.
It looks OK, I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to test the issue.
(preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible)
**Before we proceed It is necessary to take FULL BACKUP of your database and your website. Providing us with access, you agree that a backup has been taken **
I often use the Duplicator plugin for this purpose: http://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/
You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply.
The information you enter is private which means only you and I have access to it.
NOTE: If access to the live site is not possible and the staging site does not exist please provide me with a duplicator package created with the duplicator plugin.
