deleting language translation completely fails

Could you tell me what errors you're getting when you try to remove the language? Also, could you open the browser inspector tool and let me know if you see any console errors while deleting the language?

walterS-22	Hi, Kor, thank you for your assistance. Deleting the english language from WPML -> Languages does fail. The window never closes, the points-thingy turns forever.

I can see that some English language contents are preventing you from deleting that language. You might need to manually delete the contents. Could you share WP admin access here so that I could show you how this is done? Please note that it is important to have a backup for security purposes and to prevent any potential data loss. You can use the UpdraftPlus plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/updraftplus/) to fulfill your backup requirements. Please refer to this screen recording that shows you what I did to manually remove the English language content. hidden link 1. Enable the English Language 2. Navigate to posts and delete the English translated posts. 3. Go to trash bin and permanently delete the posts.
