Post was created in Elementor builder.

Translation done using WPML.

Translated page formatting with Elementor does not exist.

How do we fix this?

Please see the attached image.

The right side is the original document. See that it has multiple containers.

The translated website is on the left. It no longer has multiple containers and combined all the elements into 1 container.

4 posts were translated the same way, but only 1 post lost its Elementor formatting.

Hello,

Thank you for getting in touch.

Upon reviewing your screenshots, I want to emphasize that manually editing translations is not recommended if you're already using the Advanced Translation Editor to translate content.

Here's a suggested solution to address the layout issue:

1. Perform a complete backup of your website.

2. Edit the translated page and delete it.

3. Access the trash bin and permanently delete the translated page.

4. Navigate to the primary language page and duplicate it following the instructions provided here: https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/displaying-untranslated-content-on-pages-in-secondary-languages/#duplicating-content .

5. Edit the duplicated translated page and click on the "Translate Independently" button.

6. Return to your primary language page and translate it using the Advanced Translation Editor.

Please give this method a try and let me know if it resolves the issue.

Kor, thank you for the guide.

I will try this out.

We need to make changes to the images of the articles. If we should not use the Elementor editor, how do we go about this?

--------
Edit:

Kor, please know that our primary language is NOT the original language of the post.

So duplicating primary languange will not work.

Thanks for your reply.

I will need to closely examine your website. Therefore, I will require temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to a test site where the problem has been replicated, if possible. This will enable me to provide better assistance and determine if any configurations need to be modified.

Please note that it is important to have a backup for security purposes and to prevent any potential data loss. You can use the UpdraftPlus plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/updraftplus/) to fulfill your backup requirements.

Your upcoming reply will be treated with confidentiality and will only be visible to you and me.

✙ To resolve the issue, I may need your consent to deactivate and reactivate plugins and the theme, as well as make configuration changes on the site if necessary. This emphasizes the significance of having a backup.
