Background of the issue:
I am using the WPML plugin on my site hidden link. I want to keep the slug in English even after switching the language.

Symptoms:
The slug changes language when switching languages.

Questions:
How can I keep the slug in English when switching languages using WPML?

1. Could you please confirm if the secondary language page slug issue is now resolved, or if you still need help with it?

2. Regarding the homepage language switcher not working, there seems to be a redirection causing the Arabic homepage to lead to the English version. I suggest taking a full backup of your site and then deactivating the Yoast SEO plugin temporarily to check if the issue disappears.

If the issue is gone, you can reactivate Yoast and look into removing any custom redirection that may be causing this behavior.

3. Also, please clear all types of cache (site/server/CDN) and see if that helps.
