Background of the issue:
We are experiencing some issues with WPML on our WooCommerce WordPress website. The links behind the buttons leading to our webshop pages are not translated correctly. Currently, we adjust these links manually via the Divi Builder.

Second, we would like the product links displayed on our homepage to automatically redirect visitors to the correct language version of the WooCommerce product pages.

Symptoms:
Button url's and WooCommerce product URLs are not translated correctly.

Questions:
Could you guide us on how to correctly set up these URL translations via WPML?
How can we achieve automatic redirection of product links to the correct language version on the homepage through WPML without editing the homepage via the Divi Builder?

Hi,

Thanks for contacting WPML forums support. I'll be glad to help you today.

1) Please let me know how these URLs are added in the default language. Kindly share screenshots of the URLs in the editor.

2) Could you please share your Debug information with me?
You can read a detailed explanation about it here. (http://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support)
The debug info will give me much information about how your site is configured.

Best regards,
Osama

Default Language = Dutch.

These are the shop url's in all languages:
Dutch: hidden link
French: hidden link
English: hidden link

These are added in a Divi button via the link.

The products are added via the Woocommerce Product images module.

Hi,

Please ensure that the pages/templates containing this module are translated.

Also, please use the search field in the translation editor to look for and translate these URLs.

Best regards,
Osama

HOMEPAGE: In the advanced translation editor i can't find an option to translate the url's of the products. The products are not available in the translation editor. I don't think i'm supposed to edit the translated page with Divi page builder?

POINTS OF SALE: hidden link:
URL is translated to /en/shop in the translations but it does not show on the page itself

Extra general question: Is it correct that I can't use the 'edit translation' button and I always have to go from WPML > Translation Management and click edit there?

Hi,

Thanks for your update. I would need to look closely at your site, so I would need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP)
Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated.

Your answer will be private, meaning only you and I can access it.

❌ Please backup your database and website ❌

✙ I need your permission to deactivate and reactivate the plugins and themes and change site configurations. This is also why the backup is critical.

✙ I also need your permission to take a local copy of your site to debug the issue without affecting your live site.

Best regards,
Osama
