To be honest, this was done almost a year ago when I first set it up. The issue only just now happened. Perhaps it is an upgrade that caused it. If I give temporary permission to look at the site, perhaps you are able to clearly see it.
I have set your next message private so you can securely share the access credentials to the site. Although I won't make any changes on the site, I kindly ask you to confirm that you have created a full site backup that you can restore if necessary.
Also, please share a URL where the issue can be seen, and that we can use as a reference.
Greetings and thank you!
I was actually thinking I can add you as admin if you can provide contact details. I had to do that before. It would be much easier, I think.
Hi Rovena,
Thank you for sharing the access to the site
I have added a language switcher to the page, but here are the steps to follow in case you would like to change it or modify it:
- Edit the frontpage via this link: hidden link
- Click on the block that contains the language switcher shortcode
- Use any of these shortcodes: [wpml_language_selector_widget]
[wpml_language_selector_footer]
- Save the changes
You can change the style of the language switcher in WPML -> Languages -> Language switcher options
I did add the flags, and it seems ok for now. Did you see any other issues on the site for WPML? I am afraid I am a little confused with what is redundant, and isn't.
