This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client needed to know how to set up WooCommerce products for manual translation instead of using WPML's automatic translation.
Solution:
1. Go to WPML > Translation Dashboard.
2. Scroll down to the Products section and select the products you want to translate.
3. Select the option to translate the products by yourself and send them for translation.
4. Go to WPML > Translations and take the translation job. You'll be taken to the Advanced Translation Editor, where you can manually add your translations.

This is for WooCommerce (new products)
How do I do the setting, so that I can manually do the translation, instead of WPLML.
My staff has knowledge of french, and they can do that.

Hi there,
Thanks for contacting WPML support.

1. To ensure the quickest and most accurate support, please provide your debug information so that I can get a look at some of your configurations. You can find it in WPML > Support > click on “Debug information” link. Please check this link for more info: http://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support/

2. If you're using the "Translate Everything Automatically" mode please change it to the "Translate What You Choose" so you can control what needs to be translated automatically.

After switching the translation mode you are still able to translate the content automatically by following this guide: https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/#translating-individual-pages-posts-and-other-content-automatically

3. Regarding the product translation, please make sure that the "WooCommecre Multilingual and Multi-Currency" plugin is installed (https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/woocommerce-multilingual/)

Then you can create the translation manually in the WPML translation editor with the following steps:

- Go to WooCommecre > WooCommerce Multilingual and Multicurrency > Products tab
- Click the + sign to create the French translation

Let me know please if that helps.

Kind regards,
Mohamed
