Problem:
You are trying to manage menu translations in WPML but cannot find the Chinese menu in the MENU section for editing, even though it appears correct online. Additionally, in the WPML menu sync section, all menus appear as if they haven't been synchronized yet.
Solution:
We recommend you try adding a translation for the menu by clicking the + icon next to the Chinese language in the WPML menu sync section. This should allow you to create and edit the Chinese menu translation directly.

If this solution does not resolve your issue or seems outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Background of the issue:
I am trying to change the menu for my client on the site hidden link. I want to move current menus into submenus and create new ones. The client is supposed to translate every page by themselves, but I am unsure if they are doing it correctly. I am not very familiar with WPML.

Symptoms:
The menu online appears correct, and clicking the language flag keeps me on the same page in the correct language. However, I cannot find the Chinese menu in the MENU section; it seems empty. In the WPML menu sync section, all menus appear as if they haven't been synchronized yet.

Questions:
Why is the menu correct online but not visible for editing in the MENU section?
How can I manage the translation of the menu if it appears empty in the MENU section?
