Background of the issue:
I have a problem translating a category archive page with Elementor loop templates. I try to create separate category archive pages with Elementor and WPML but it works only in the default language DE. I want to create a category page 'Gardasee' in language DE (German) which has a loop template to show properties 'in sale' or 'coming soon' which are also categories. All works fine until I want to translate it. The translation there is very buggy. Even when I try to change the IT (Italian) template directly in Elementor and not WPML, I cannot set any taxonomy as filter as they are not there.

Symptoms:
Currently on IT it doesn’t show only the properties with category 'Gardasee', the ALL filter shows nothing and the others just show all posts.

Questions:
Why can't I set any taxonomy as filter in the IT (Italian) template directly in Elementor?
How can I make the IT translation work the same as the DE page?

Can you "break" the alternate loop on hidden link so we could check something? So undo your workaround.
