The content is from block widgets, which are on the widget section, on the sidebar area. I translated events through string translations, I translated all (Events) strings I could find without results. Events should be found on the Event Calendar plugin. The other one is a Latest Post widget, the post list is present on the front end on the Spanish page but absent on the English page, although they are both present when you go to the widgets section.
You probably are going to ask me for access, I'll grant it to you once I'm back from a meeting.

Since there seem to be two different issues you are facing, and we do have a one issue per ticket policy in order to make it easier to focus on each issue and also make it easier for other people that might have the same issue, I'll be splitting this ticket.
We will working on the Event plugin strings in this ticker and on the other one we continue with the "Latest Post widget" not showing on the English translation.

I was able to check and do a minimal test with the "Event" string but without success. I tried to clear the cache from the plugin "W3 Total Cache" but I got an error when I did so no success there also.
1) Will it be possible first to do a full cache cleanup of the website and see if there is any change?
2) Since you don't have a staging site, to further troubleshoot the issue I set up a sandbox site where I would require you to try to reproduce the issue, link to sandbox below (one-click-login):

Please on the sandbox:
- upload only the necessary theme/plugin necessary to reproduce the issue
- WPML plugins are already active
This will help check that the issue is not caused form any possible conflict with any other plugin.
* The alternative option would be to send a copy of your website using the Duplicator plugin(https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/), it has an option to exclude files from the backup package (you said there are a lot of files which aren't needed for testing). You can upload the backup to a file sharing service website( Google Drive, Dropbox etc.) or use your own server if you want and share the link with me.
