The translations change on their own, as does the system language; WPML is doing strange things, the translations change, and the admin is assigned a different language.

The system is acting strangely. I've translated the property pages many times, and after a while, the translations change. It's also happening now with the WordPress admin language, which is set to Spanish by default but then switches to English.

This is very frustrating ... is a bad plugin for me. Crazy translations, more than a few months with this issue...making changes all time...

The problem occurs again; the strings that were in English with their translation are still in English but are associated with Spanish, which is why they are not displayed.

Thanks for your patience. I’m sorry to hear the issue is still happening, with translations reverting back to the original language.

Could you please create a backup and share access to your website so we can investigate this further?

If possible, it would be even better to clone the site to a staging environment so we can troubleshoot without impacting your live site.

Thanks for your reply. Could you please double check the credentials? I'm getting "Error: la contraseña que has introducido para la dirección de correo electrónico eduardoceruelo@gmail.com no es correcta." when I tried to login.

Also, as per our previous conversation here https://wpml.org/forums/topic/the-translations-change-on-their-own/page/3/#post-17771416 , did you use the suggested method to update the strings?

Since it's the weekend and I can't wait any longer for these errors to be fixed, I reset the Spanish options. Before that, in theme options, translations, properties, all the Spanish strings were displayed in English, as shown in the attached image. Now, after resetting, the Spanish strings display correctly, but the English strings I manually translated in string translation are back in Spanish.

I hope they manage to implement a permanent fix for these annoying errors. This plugin is really buggy.

Today, it's not a good professional solution for any client of a serious website.

For example, after resetting the Spanish translations for the properties in the theme options, it displays correctly in Spanish, as I mentioned in my previous comment.

The problem now is that in English, Spanish words are displayed, and when I go to search for them in the string translation to translate them manually, they don't appear in the Spanish version, only in English.

Thanks for your reply. That might not be the correct string. I'm looking at this now.

I've fixed it for you by removing the string and adding it again. Could you check now? hidden link
