This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client was experiencing an issue with extra white space appearing between the first and second line in the Dutch version of their website header, which was not present in the English version.
Solution:
First, we recommended checking our documentation on Translating Elementor Templates to ensure the translation process was followed correctly.
Upon further inspection, we noticed that the text

<p>Dr. Edwin Winkel Consultancy</p>

contained an extra

<p></p>

HTML element, which was causing the additional space. We suggested that the client edit the text "Dr. Edwin Winkel Consultancy", make some changes to the original, and then re-save the translation to see if the issue with the extra HTML elements persists.

I am trying to: Have the same layout regardless of language

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link

I expected to see: No extra white space between first and second line, top left. See image English Header.jpg

Instead, I got:Extra white space. See image Dutch Header.jpg

Best regards,
Glenn

Thank you for contacting WPML support.

I would be happy to assist you with that. Have you followed our documentation on Translating Elementor Templates?

You can find it at https://wpml.org/documentation/plugins-compatibility/elementor/#translate-elementor-templates.

Please upload screenshots demonstrating the translation process.

Hi Andrey,
Sorry if I seem a bit confused. Everything is translated via the Advanced Translation Editor since I want the same layout for both languages. I have not edited the Dutch Header in any other way. Should I?

Thank you for your feedback. I have inspected your website and found that text <p>Dr. Edwin Winkel Consultancy</p> has an extra <p></p> HTML element that adds additional space.

Maybe you can try to edit the "Dr. Edwin Winkel Consultancy" text, make a few changes to the original, and re-save the translation to check if there are no extra HTML elements. What are the results?
