Hi I translated the contact page in the old way and the page didn't update. I switched to Advanced Translation Editor and immediately the page updated. So thanks for that. I will try and translate something else and see if the original problem disappears.
Unfortunately the footer is still incorrect and the slider on the home page. If you are reading this from the bottom up here is a repeat of the information above, so that you don't have to read the above box.
The home page is now working except for the first slider which is in English on my Spanish page, there is no box to translate it.
Question 1 How do translate the first slider screen that doesn't appear on the translation page
In the footer I changed the string translation to alter the hours yesterday morning. The attachment shows the hours changed from Saturday to Wednesday. Yet on the footer on the homepage the hours still show as Saturday, not reflecting the changed string.
Question 2 Again, why are changes that I am making not displaying on the page. Shouldn't it be instant? Or should I be changing this somewhere other than the string translations?
I've set up a sandbox site at hidden link . Could you please attempt to replicate the slider issue there? The problem pertains to the content in the slider that isn't translating.
Feel free to install the necessary plugins and theme.
I am sorry I don't know how to do what you are asking. When I follow the link you provide there is a link " how to reproduce issues to share with support." but it leads to a 404.
The slider on my home page has one slide (the first) that is not translating to Spanish.
I have attached an image of the homepage in Spanish, you will see that the slider about Moroccan Mosaics is in English.
When I go the the translation page, this first slider doesn't appear either on the left on the English side, or on the right half of the page where I should be able to do the translation. It starts with slide 2. Again I have attached a screenshot
