We are using a chart plugin – Visualizer: Tables and Charts for WordPress – and it appears that WPML is in conflict with the charts.
On some charts with the Hungarian site we have wrong dates, like 2020.january appears twice:

On the English site, it is OK:

We checked our data. It seems OK, we can make a chart in excel from it with proper dates at the horizontal axis.

Hello!

Welcome to WPML Support. I'll do my best to help you solve this issue.

1) Can you please check if the issue happens when only Visualizer and WPML plugins are active? While using the WP default theme.

2) Disable WPML plugins and go to the HU version of the page, and check if the issue still happens.

3) Also, I do not see this plugin on our official compatible list nor was it tested or we are familiar with it, so some issues may happen.

If the issue only happens when WPML and Visualizer are active then I suggest first checking with the plugin author if they provide any compatibility with WPML, and invite them to our GoGlobal programer where our developers will be glad to help:

Let me know how it goes.

Thanks,
Drazen

Hi!

Thank you for your suggestions.

I have followed your instructions, you can see the outcomes below:

- check if the issue happens when only Visualizer and WPML plugins are active (while using the WP default theme) -> YES

- disable WPML plugins and go to the HU version of the page, and check if the issue still happens -> NO

The Visualizer team is trying to help, but is there anything that can help solve the issue on your side?

Also, on the Recommended Plugins site I couldn’t find any chart maker plugin which is compatible with WPML – is there any?

Hello,

thanks for getting back.

As said best would be for them to join our program and our developers will be glad to help.

Let's confirm if this is a compatibility bug or issue specific to your website.

I created a minimal installation of WordPress, WPML, and all necessary WPML add-ons.

You can access the WordPress dashboard using the link below:
- hidden link

Kindly follow the steps below:
- Set up WPML
- Install the Visualizer plugin.
- Try to replicate the issue in simple dummy example
- Share with me step by step guide on how can I check the issue

This will help us to report the probable issue to the compatibility team and solve the possible problem faster.

Let me know how it goes and what steps you took.

Kind regards,
Drazen

Hello,

I see you have reproduced the issue on sandbox and the same thing happen always for 2nd language.

This confirms this is a bug with mentioned not compatible plugin, I have checked but couldn't find any quick fix.

We would need collaboration from the plugin author to work together with our compatibility team in order to achvie compatibility.

Can you please report this to them and invite them to our GoGlobal compatibility program, our devs will be glad to help in this programe.
