The client is experiencing an issue where enabling WPML on their WooCommerce site causes product reviews to be duplicated, creating thousands of copies. This problem does not occur when WPML is disabled.
Solution:
We identified that the issue might be due to a conflict between WPML and the client's theme, which is not compatible with WPML. To isolate and verify the conflict, we recommended testing the review functionality on a fresh install. We provided the client with a test website and instructed them to install only their theme, WooCommerce, and a single product to check if the issue persists in this controlled environment.
