      you can buy WPML and cancel your subscription any day/week/month after your purchase. You will find the Cancel button in your account.
      You will still have access to our support forum and new updates for the period you’ve paid for (= one year).

      Please note that you an active subscription/renewals are needed for updates and to ask for our help on the forum. You can use WPML plugins even if your subscription gets canceled.

  3. Hi!
    If I buy the Plugin in the CMS-Version and I install it on three sites, my plan is full. That is clear. But if I deinstall it on one of the three sites: Can I install it on another one?

    And: Is there a different level of support between the version „CMS“ and the version „Agency“?

    I expect that there will be the possibility of an upgrade from CMS to Agency at any time. Is that right?

    • Hello Raphael,
      If you delete one of the urls, you can register a new one, as long as your subscription is active. You can also upgrade to Agency for the difference only. There is no difference in the support you will receive whether you purchase the CMS or Agency subscription.

    at the moment I do have test URL to set up my page. wordpress.bkfotografik.de
    If I use WPML now its registered to this page. But at the end my page will have a complete different url. How can I manage this. Or should I not install WPML before having my final URL ?

    my WPML account will expire on January 16th, 2019. That is tomorrow. I want to renew WPML but I forgot my password. Whenever I try to get a new one, I get told, that an email was sent to my email account. But that email never appears!! Can you please help me!

    due to our policies we have to pay it on invoice, not paypal or credit-card.

    • Hello Christian,
      Do you mean you need a proforma invoice? We do not accept direct wire transfers, only PayPal/debit/credit card. PayPal allows to pay with your bank account directly through their e-cheques. Let me know and I will prepare the proforma invoice for you.

    I just installed it and tried it on the homepage – i use Thrive Architect from Thrive Themes.
    But if i switch to the english version, the site is not styled at all.
    I cant find information about this.

    my business is located in Tenerife – Canary islands. Despite we are Part of Spain the the tax is 6,5 % and not like in Spain 21 % and if we by something that is shiped to us with a worth less then 150 EUR it is totaly taxfree. Unfortunately, there is no option to set this. Is there any way to get this configured?

    unfortunately I don’t have a VAT number. My business is VAT free (here the tax is called IGIC) because the annual turnover is less than 30.000 EUR. Everything here is handled with the N.I.E. Spanish tax number. Even if we by from Amazon.com, amazon.es or amazon.de we get the package (with worth less 150 EUR) taxfree.

    I own a WPML-Account for life for me as private person. I just wanted to buy the same package for the factory I work for, but couldn’t find it to buy. Is this package no longer available? And what will happen with the „for-life-package“ I already own? I’m a bit confused now. Thx for your feedback.

    • Hello Eric,
      New lifetime subscriptions are no longer for sale. We now offer yearly subscriptions with automatic renewals. The existing lifetime subscriptions in our system remain intact, so your account remains the same.

    Ich suche für einen Kunden ein Übersetzungs-Plugin das die Inhalte der Seite übersetzt. Die Inhalte der Seite sind mit dem Advanced Layout Builder des Enfold Themes erstellt. Da man WPML leider nicht in einer kostenlosen Testversion testen kann müsste ich vor dem Kauf wissen ob WPML in der Lage ist Inhalte die mit diesem Pagebuilder (oder generell einem Pagebuilder) zu übersetzen.

    Is WPML compatible with the Standard themes twentyfifteen, twentyseventeen and twentynineteen?
    And is it possible to filter the list of WPML compatible themes for free themes? Or is there an extra list that lists the compatible free themes?

    • Hello Eva,
      we don’t have such a filter, I’m sorry. You need to put the theme name into our search, or part of your name. Please see my example.

      As you can see we are compatible with all the default WP themes but only the Twenty Nineteen theme is not mentioned. I’ll check with our Compatibility Team why. I think this one should work fine too.

    ich will eine neue Website aufbauen für DACH + International.
    http://www.domain.de => Deutschland
    http://www.domain.at => Österreich
    http://www.domain.ch => Schweiz
    http://www.domain.com => International (Englisch)

    Das ganze läuft im Idealfall auf einer WordPress-Installation und wenn ich die Informationen in der Doku richtig gelesen habe, dann geht das per CNAME-Eintrag mit einer Domain, die sozusagen die Haupt-Installation beinhaltet.

    Welche der 3 Lizenzen brauche ich dafür? Reicht „Mehrsprachiger Blog“, obwohl es 4 Domains sind? Oder brauche ich die Lizenz „Mehrsprachige Agentur“, weil alle 4 Domains über eine WP-Installation laufen?

    • Hello Lena,

      we always advise that the client who will be using the WPML account should be the one who actually makes the purchase. The thing is, once the initial account is acquired we set also a schedule subscription and that will be set on the initial purchase. We can change the email associated with the account and this way transfer the account to a new user anytime but in this case, the purchase details for the next payments (yearly renewals) need to be changed as well and it means that the subscription needs to be canceled and set again by the new account owner. I hope it helps.

    • You should be able to upgrade for the difference price (if your current subscription is still active). Please log into your WPML account and see what options you can see. It’s better to purchase using the same account so please do it while being logged in.

    Alle Domain befinden sich in einer WordPress Netzwerkinstallation
    und sollen später auch in mehreren Sprachen errichbar sein inkl. Backend.

    ist das mit WPML möglich?

    I had purchased the WPML Plugin 1506623 Februar 5, 2018.
    But I have ordered a refund cause it was not the right plugin for me.

    Now that we want to change ours site…I noticed that I could not change the native Language back from English to Netherlands.

    There is no support / Contact on your site to report this.

    Could you please help to change my wp Language

      if this is happening due to some elements left by WPML, it means that you WPML plugins wasn’t uninstalled properly. In order to completely uninstall the WPML plugin you need to go to „WPML -> Support -> Troubleshooting“ and at the bottom of the page you can find an option „Reset“.

    we are considering to use WPML for our Online Shops. We have more than 50k translations already in DE – EN and DE – FR ready within excel files.

    Is there any functionality offered by WPML to lets say import these and further to work via Import/Export functionality? Or, how exactly does WPML work?

    For instance, we hav 20k products with names in decsriptions which do not work with automatic machine translation services. Anything on WPML to help us with?

    Sind damit die seiten in WordPress (Pages) gemeint oder domain webseiten :
    Ich habe in WordPress z.B Home, Portfolio, About, NEws… Sind die damit gemeint das nur 3 Seiten übersetzt werden ?

    ich habe vor dem Kauf zwei Fragen zum technischen Unterbau von WPML.

    – Wenn ich eine deutsche Website ins Englische übersetze, wird dann bei der Übersetzung der einzelnen Seiten jeweils im Hintergrund eine neue Seite erstellt, die ebenfalls unter einem anderen Link abrufbar ist, in XML Sitemaps eingefügt werden kann und entsprechend SEO optimiert werden kann?

    – Kann die Mehrsprachigkeit über verschiedene Unterordner ausgedrückt werden? Kann ich also die deutsche und die englische Variante abrufbar machen unter „https://www.meinedomain.com/de“ und das übersetze Pendant dann gleichzeitig unter „https://www.meinedomain.com/en“?
