This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
If you're experiencing issues with characters such as \' and \" being escaped in WooCommerce emails when using the Tickera plugin alongside WPML, where these characters appear as /\' and /\" in the email's subject and content, but not in the footer.
Solution:
We recommend following these steps:
1) Ensure that all your WPML plugins, WooCommerce, and WordPress are updated to their latest versions. You can check for updates by navigating to Plugins > Add New > Commercial > Click “Check for updates”.
2) Test if the issue persists by disabling all other plugins except for WPML and WooCommerce. This can help determine if there's a conflict with another plugin.

If these steps do not resolve the issue or if the solution seems outdated or irrelevant to your case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem persists, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum for further assistance.

Background of the issue:
I am trying to process orders using the Tickera plugin, and I noticed that during the order process, the characters ' and " are being escaped in emails sent through WooCommerce. This issue is resolved when I disable WPML.

Symptoms:
In WooCommerce emails, the characters ' and " are often escaped, appearing as /' and /" in the email's subject and content. However, the email's footer is unaffected.

Questions:
Why are the characters ' and " being escaped in WooCommerce emails? and ruring order process
How can I prevent the characters from being escaped without disabling WPML?

Hello,

thanks for contacting us. I have just tried from my side on test site, and it works fine. Image attached.

1) Please update WPML plugins, WooCommerce and WordPress to the latest versions. Go to Plugins > Add New > Commercial > Click “Check for updates".

Please make sure to create a backup, before doing any actions, just in case.

2) Check if the issue happens when only WPML plugins and Wocommerce enabled and all other disabled.

Let me know how it goes.

Regards,
Drazen
