Hi Alejandro, the dynamic popular categories on the home page in Spanish are now showing, thank you! However, when you click on them, it directs to the English version, not the Spanish version of the categories and the same is true when you click on the Categories dropdown under the "Search" tab. |

The problem here is that it tries to call a page called "single categories" which is actually a page set in directories > settings. You can try to register the string and manually translate the ID of that page so it redirects to the correct place. I did it for you here and here's how you can do the same also for the other pages that you are setting up in the directory settings: hidden link Regards, |

Thank you so much Alejandro - this explanation is appreciated - and of course the fix! I'm glad that WPML are seeing that the compatibility status Directorist are claiming is not warranted. It's the gift that just keeps on giving - with both WPML and non-WPML issues alike! |

No problem and thank you for the patience with all these particular issues. we already have one of our compatibility team contact the authors of directorist and i'm hopeful that these issues will disappear soon and things will be improved. Regards, |

Thank you Alejandro. Just be aware that the desire to fix these issues is there with Directorist as they know what's at stake. The issue, however, is that their developers simply aren't capable of effecting the changes needed, and their support staff aren't capable of understanding the issues presented and then communicating effectively with their devs. Unless you are able to literally tell them exactly what needs to be done and walk them through it step by step, they aren't able to make the changes properly - they will tell you they have ... but the reality is quite different. |

In our case it's a bit different, they have to show what they are doing in order for us to know if we can keep them as compatible so there's a full process to go through and testing afterwards to make things as compatible as possible. For now, can you confirm that the categories are working and linking correctly everywhere on the site now? Regards. |

I'm reassured to hear that they can't just do what they do with me and claim the issue is fixed and close the ticket, without any testing and any real changes made. Categories appear to be working correctly now, thank you. But I do need to do deeper testing to confirm 100%. Can I please check that the list of other issues are in hand with the Devs? Not having the Spanish single listing page translatable for all Directorist listing components looks awful as I am in the process of reaching out to Spanish speaking businesses to bring them on board. The impact on my business is massive, especially as this has been ongoing for such a long time. As always, thank you in advance for your perseverance with all these issues! |

Unfortunately none of the issues (other than categories - thank you!) have been resolved. I am still experiencing the same loop of overwriting and the areas that weren't translatable before the overwriting remain untranslatable in the single listing. While I didn't show it in the Loom, I did check incognito as well - same problem. |
