I'll continue to help you with this issue. I'm downloading the package for your site. It is huge. Almost 4 GB. It may take time to set it up. I'll install it on my local server and check this issue. I'll be able to get back to you with more findings tomorrow.

Today, I tried to install your site on my local server to investigate the issue. However, your package lacks the SQL file to populate the DB. Or that I cannot find it in the package you sent.

Can you please tell me where to find it in your package or send me the DB of your site?

Hi,

I'm sorry, but even after adding the DB of your site and making all the necessary adjustments, I cannot make your site work on my local server. I get this error ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED. Please see the attached screenshot.

I've created a server for you on our Cloudays server. Please migrate your site and we will try to debug the issue there. I'm sharing all the details in the next private reply.

I can not migrate my website to any site. you should see in your local server I don't know why are you having issues.

anyway can you investigate by other way what is the issue?

Please proceed with what Mihai, my colleague, suggested in the chat with you.

Please try the following steps so that we can test for a compatibility-related issue:

- create a full website backup

- disable all plugins except WPML and its add-ons

- check if the issue is happening again

- if it's not, reactivate your plugins one by one, checking every time if the issue shows up again so that you can understand which plugin is causing that issue

If the issue happens even with the non-WPML plugins disabled:
- leave all the non-WPML plugins deactivated

- switch to a default theme like TwentySeventeen

- try to recreate the issue now

Another option is for you to create a staging site for us and give us access to it. Then, we will be able to check the issue on the staging site without the risk of breaking your live site.

The ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED error is when it does not recognize the local domain you are using because it does not match the one configured internally in WordPress. You should check both.

Can you try to do that please? I can not create a staging because it is a lot of cost for me.

The ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED still persists. Here is what I tried.

1. Changed 'siteurl' and 'home' in the wp_options table. Please see the attached screenshot siteurl.jpg.

2. Configured WP_HOME and WP_SITEURL in the wp-config.php file. Please see the attached screenshot wp-config.jpg.

3. Renamed the /plugins/ folder in case a plugin is causing this problem. Instead, I created a new empty/plugins/ folder.

4. Reloaded my local server.

If you have other advice on making your site work on my local server, please share them with me.

I'm also currently consulting our second-tier supporters about this issue. I'll update you here once I have their reply.
