This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You are setting up WPML on your website and have encountered an issue with the automatic translation review process. Some translations are marked as “Needs Review.” When you click on “Review,” you cannot see the content properly; you only see the full text when you choose to edit it. You are concerned about accidentally publishing these translations because you are not sure if you can easily revert them afterward. You want to review and confirm translations without publishing them live yet.
Solution:
The issue you are experiencing is due to the incompatibility between YOOtheme and WPML. Although the content was translated by WPML, YOOtheme still shows the untranslated content in secondary languages. To manage this, we recommend using the WordPress Editor to create translations. This approach ensures that you see the translated content when reviewing. If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Hello WPML Support Team,
I am currently setting up WPML on my website and have encountered an issue with the automatic translation review process. Some translations are marked as “Needs Review.” When I click on “Review,” I cannot see the content properly; I only see the full text when I choose to edit it.
I am concerned about accidentally publishing these translations because I am not sure if I can easily revert them afterward. My goal is to review and confirm translations without publishing them live yet.
Could you please advise:

How can I review translations without publishing them?
Is there a way to keep translations in draft status until I manually approve them?
Why does the “Review” option not show the full content like the edit mode does?

Thank you for your assistance!
Best regards,
Emilie

Thank you for waiting. I checked your website, and noticed that the issue is due to the incompatibility between YOOtheme and WPML, as explained here:

https://wpml.org/theme/yootheme/

Even though the content was translated by WPML, YOOtheme still shows the untranslated content in secondary languages. The only option, in this case, is to use the WordPress Editor to create translations—that's why you were seeing the untranslated content when reviewing. You can check more details on how to do that here:

I've also recorded a video, explaining it:
