Background of the issue:
I have a multilingual WordPress site using WPML, supporting four languages: English (default), Spanish, Japanese, and Arabic. All translations are created manually from the English content. I do not use automatic translation. I expected translated pages to remain in their correct language content after editing the default English content.
Symptoms:
Whenever I make changes to the English version of a page/post and save it, after a day or two, one of the translated versions gets overwritten with the English content. This issue does not consistently affect all languages. For example, the Spanish version was replaced with English text after an edit, while Japanese and Arabic versions were fine. In another instance, the Japanese translation was overwritten instead.

I have shared the WP-admin and FTP access details. Please check and let me know the issues along with the fix. This is quite serious, as I have lost a significant amount of traffic due to this issue.
Random issues are challenging to debug and resolve. Your experience is similar to that of others, and a short-term fix is not feasible. It will require a longer timeframe.
I have already provided suggestions for controlling this behavior. The next step is to identify the root cause, although we cannot guarantee that we will find it at once.
If the issue occurs again, we will need to disable all plugins and switch to the default theme. This process will take time.
