I agree with you, I also don’t see the point in only missing some languages. Moreover, I don’t find any pattern in this.
However, the solution you suggested does not suit me for various reasons:
- many of the pages where I used automatic translation have 2-3 descriptions missing, and the only way to determine this is to click on each page and check manually. I don't have time for this.
- I am sure that the plugin counts every word of the translation and the way of clicking, trying to translate over and over again, will cost me a lot of money or because of bugs in the program through no fault of mine.
Please find a solution to the problem that won't harm my interests as a user.

Hello,
You can switch the translation option at WPML > Settings > Translation Mode to "Translate What You Choose" and this way nothing will get translated automatically without your authorization.
If you wish to provide me admin access I can have a closer look. Let me know if this is possible and I will enable a private reply form in which you can provide admin access to the site.
Hello,
I’m actually in the mode “Translate what you choose”, the thing is that once automatic translation for each of 9 languages is done, and the credits are taken, some of the descriptions are missing. That’s the problem for me!
I would be glad to provide you the admin access, so you can take a closer look.
