This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client faced two issues with WPForms translations:
1. A specific sentence in the form locker was not appearing for translation.
2. A field value translated in the form preview reverted to English in the email notifications.

Solution:
For the first issue, we suggested checking the WPML documentation on translating WPForms locker addon messages and making adjustments to the

wpml-config.xml

file. After updating the file, the missing string appeared, and the client was able to translate it into various languages.
For the second issue, after re-editing the string with no success initially, adjustments were made to the

wpml-config.xml

file, which resolved the problem. The client confirmed that the translation was successful and planned final testing.

Hi Kor,
while I wait for your message regarding the above, I have the very last two problems with translation. Not sure if I need to open a new ticket or if I can take advantage of this one and keep receiving your help.

Here below the two issues:

1. One sentence in the form locker is not appearing anywhere (please see attached image entryLimitSetting). That default English setting is nowhere (not in string either and I re-scanned everything).

2. In the form preview (see form preview "image correct_field_entry_preview") I can see the corrected translated field-133 value. But when I receive the email (see image "wrong_field_email") that value is back to default English language despite the email is in the correct language. Maybe linked to the (bug?) previously discussed above about admin/subscriber/field?

Thank you,
Cristiano

Regarding point 1 I found this article:

https://wpml.org/forums/topic/translate-wpforms-locker-addon-message/

Should I go for that and implement to try it out?

Hello,

1. Unfortunately that does not work. The place where it is supposed to be added is: wpml-forms-config.xml but the string does not appear anywhere.

2. The issue about this string is still there (I tried re-editing it with no success).
here the link to Italian: hidden link

Please let me know, thank you!

Thanks for your patience.

I've made some adjustments to the wpml-config.xml file and it should be there as shown in this screen recording hidden link . Could you check and complete the translation for all languages?

Hi Kor,
yes, that is now available and I translated it in the various languages.
It seems we made it. Thank you.
We will do the final testing today and hopefully I will not bother you further!

Thanks,
Cristiano

Thanks for your reply.

Glad that helped. Just ping me here if something goes wrong. Oh, one more thing, backup a copy of the WPForms Multilingual plugin just in case you face the same issue on your other Website.
