Problem:
The client is experiencing issues with language changes and receiving numerous warnings from WPML. They suspect the 'fibosearch' plugin might be causing the language change issue.
Solution:
We recommended updating to WPML 4.7.1 and setting up a staging site. The client should then disable all other plugins and test with the default WordPress theme and WPML plugins only to check if the issue persists. If the problem is still there, it indicates a potential bug with WPML, and further investigation is needed. We also suggested testing in a minimal state and sharing a video of the issue if it continues. Additionally, we invited the plugin author to join the GoGlobal program to ensure compatibility with WPML. For further assistance, we opened a new support ticket and suggested checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/.

Hello,

You can try to update to WPML 4.7.1 and create a staging site.

Then try to disable all other plugins and see if it happens with the WP default theme and WPML plugins only, if yes then it might be WPML bug and we will need to check further, but I would suggest we wait a bit and solve 1 issue per time to avoid any confusion and further issues along the line.

great, thanks.

I have set the user language to English and tried to check by going around in the backend as you did in videos, but it stays fine for me and is not changing.

Does the issue still happen for you? Any specific steps I can follow to repordce the issue?

I don't know how can I show you this on the dev website because I don't have a licence on it

I can not assing that much of credits, try with one page / langauge or create some new simple example page, You have 983 credits left.

You can cancel current ongoing jobs and then try again with simpler page.

I think I found the plugin which cause this, it's fibosearch, I will look deeper now

I face also another problem with 1 thousands warning per day coming from wpml

Can you open another ticket with this attachment ? I just want to be sure that you manage this ticket
