string translation

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is unable to translate the 'televisie diagonaal' and other Dutch texts in an HTML table on their webpage using WPML. The texts are not automatically translated nor locatable through the string translation option.
Solution:
If you're experiencing this issue, we recommend using the manual translation mode for the specific page where the table is located. You can find detailed instructions here: Using different translation editors for different pages.

Alternatively, you can add a shortcode in the

functions.php

file of your theme to include the HTML table content. Each text should be exposed for translation. After implementing the shortcode, scan the theme in WPML > Themes and plugins Localization menu. The strings will then be available in WPML > String translation. For more details on using gettext, visit: How to use gettext.

May I have more context and the link to the page that you added the table in? Did you use the HTML Element in Elementor and add the code directly? If so, the advanced translation editor does not support direct HTML code translation. As an exception for the page that you have the issue with, you will need to use the manual translation mode: https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/using-different-translation-editors-for-different-pages/ There is another alternative that involves coding by you. You can add a shortcode in the functions.php file of your theme and add the HTML table content there and for each text you can expose it for translation: https://wpml.org/documentation/support/how-to-use-gettext/ Then you can use the shortcode on the page. After that you can scan the theme in WPML > Themes and plugins Localization menu and then the strings will be available in WPML > String translation. Thanks.

I'd appreciate it if you could give me the URL/User/Pass of your WordPress dashboard after you make sure that you have a backup of your website. Christopher Amirian WPML Supporter since 07/2020 Languages: English (English ) Timezone: Asia/Yerevan (GMT+04:00)	Hi please check this video: hidden link Video Summary: - I edited the page using the Advanced Translation Editor (ATE). - I located the correct content by searching for the text from the frontend in the ATE search bar. - I copied the content, made changes, and saved the translation. - After clearing the cache, the changes appeared correctly on the frontend. - I also removed an unnecessary section from the translation, which fixed the layout. - Please repeat the same steps for other languages to apply the fixes.
