This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: You are trying to translate the default posts slug added in WP permalink settings. While the translation appears correctly on the archive page, it does not reflect on single post pages. Solution: Unfortunately, it is not possible to translate custom strings added to the custom structure permalink directly through WPML. However, you can create a custom parent category with the same slug and assign it to the posts. This method will make the slug appear similar when using the category/post-name permalink structure. If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, please open a new support ticket. We also highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. No luck. Still doesn't work and Permalink Manager plugin (mentioned in the link) is not in use in our site. How can I translate the slug in single posts as well?

Hi there,
Thanks for your contact.
Before your ticket is assigned to one of my colleagues, please allow me to walk you through some initial debugging steps. This will help speed up the support process.
We might be facing an interaction issue with a third-party functionality, in this case:
- Make sure to have a complete backup
- Deactivate all the plugins that are not related to WPML
- Switch for a moment to a WordPress default theme like Twenty Twenty-one
- If the issue is gone, activate one by one to see with which one there is an interaction issue
Could you please tell us the results of this investigation?
Welcome to WPML support. I am happy to assist you with your query.
Regrettably, it is not possible to translate custom strings added to the custom structure permalink.
One possible solution is to create a custom parent category with the same slug and assign it to the posts. By doing so, the slug will appear similar when using the category/post-name permalink structure.
Alternatively, this can be achieved using custom programming work, which falls outside the scope of our support.
