Background of the issue:
I am trying to resolve a critical error on my website hidden link. I have the following plugins installed: WPML Media Translation 2.7.5, WPML SEO 2.1.1-b.1, WPML String Translation 3.3.0-b.1, and WPML Multilingual CMS 4.7.0-b.1. The plugins page indicates that WPML Multilingual CMS failed to load properly and is paused during recovery mode. WordPress version is 6.7.1, active theme is Foxiz (version 2.5.4), and PHP version is 8.3.3. Error details: An error of type E_ERROR was caused in line 149 of the file /home/u885174098/domains/elmundotech.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/sitepress-multilingual-cms/sitepress.php. Error message: Uncaught Error: Failed opening required '/home/u885174098/domains/elmundotech.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/sitepress-multilingual-cms/menu/post-menus/post-edit-screen/wpml-meta-boxes-post-edit-html.class.php' (include_path='.:/opt/alt/php83/usr/share/pear:/opt/alt/php83/usr/share/php:/usr/share/pear:/usr/share/php') in /home/u885174098/domains/elmundotech.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/sitepress-multilingual-cms/sitepress.php:149. Stack trace: #0 /home/u885174098/domains/elmundotech.com/public_html/wp-settings.php(526): include_once() #1 /home/u885174098/domains/elmundotech.com/public_html/wp-config.php(102): require_once('/home/u88517409...') #2 /home/u885174098/domains/elmundotech.com/public_html/wp-load.php(50): require_once('/home/u88517409...') #3 /home/u885174098/domains/elmundotech.com/public_html/wp-login.php(12): require('/home/u88517409...') #4 {main} thrown. It seems I can only delete or replace plugins manually. I can get access to Recovery mode.

Symptoms:
My website shows me 'There has been a critical error on this website.' The WPML Multilingual CMS plugin failed to load properly and is paused during recovery mode.

Questions:
How can I resolve the critical error caused by WPML Multilingual CMS 4.7.0-b.1?
Is there any documentation available for WPML 4.7.0-b.1 to help with this issue?

Hi,

The issue must have been a bad installation due to missing files.

But I do suggest that you wait for an official release of version 4.7 before updating your production website to that.

Thanks.

It worked. I liked the beta version a lot and I decided to keep it on my website. I just wasn't expecting a critical error to happen.

Thanks for your assistance.
