2nd try: RankMath author sitemap not working - WPML identified as cause

helgeW-2	Background of the issue: Since Autumn 2024, our website hidden link is bilingual: German & now also English. We use RankMath as SEO plugin and Molongui as author plugin. After a new round of testing on our staging site and the live site, the cause of the problem is clear: as soon as the WPML Multilingual CMS plugin is switched off, the sitemap can be found on RankMath again and the English authors are listed in the sitemap. The plugins WPML CMS Nav, WPML Media Translation, WPML SEO and WPML String Translation seem to cause no problems. Symptoms: Since the installation of WPML, the author sitemap can no longer be found at RankMath and is not listed at hidden link. It can still be seen at hidden link but is not displayed in the Google Search Console. Additionally, authors of the English version (hidden link) are not added to the sitemap hidden link. Questions: Why is the author sitemap not listed at hidden link after installing WPML Multilingual CMS plugin? Why are English authors not added to the sitemap hidden link?

WPML Supporter since 12/2018 Languages: English (English ) Spanish (Español ) German (Deutsch ) Timezone: America/Lima (GMT-05:00)	The "Authors" post type is not available for sitemap settings inside the latest PRO version of Rankmath. Please revise my test site. I do have the same results when testing without WPML. Please contact the Molongui and/or Rank Math Team in regard to this issue.

helgeW-2	Hello, unfortunately the problem has not yet been solved. On our staging site RankMath is installed and still offers the option of an author sitemap, on our live site as well. Our live site runs the latest version of RankMath Pro v3.0.64, on the staging site v3.0.62. After switching WPML off and on again a few times on our staging site, RankMath has even included the author sitemap in sitemap_index.xml again, for whatever reason. However, our English authors are still not indexed in this sitemap. Best regards, Helge

WPML is currently not active and there is not any author's sitemap available. This could be a current issue between "Molongui Authorship" and "RankMath" It also might be that "Molongui Authorship PRO" is needed to replicate the issue which is why I would like to ask you to install the latest version of the plugin on our test site. I will try to replicate the problem on the following test site: hidden link If it will not be possible to replicate the issue, I can offer to enable a private reply form and have a closer look at your site.
