I understand. We haven't been able to find the cause of this yet, it may be related to "-" in the original field names that we escape somehow, but this is just a guess. We are still checking this and will keep you posted! |

I’ve set up the sandbox site here: hidden link. On this site, I installed and activated ACF Pro and imported the "Content" field group from your site. Could you please install your theme and create a simple page using that flexible field? After that, we’ll review the database to identify any patterns or reasons for the issue. Hopefully, this will help us determine how and why it’s happening. |

Hello, its a custom theme made specific for this site by an external media company. So i cannot recreate the theme on another page as i do not have the package. What else can we do? I really hope we can get this solved today or atleast find a hotfix that will help fix the issues on the site so we have better time to fix the underlying issue once the site is ready to be worked on again. |

What if you recreate similar layout in the sandbox and translate this page? We can check in the postmeta table if the values match, we may see the issue in postmeta without the need of checking this directly in the frontend. Unfortunately, a hotfix today is unlikely as it requires additional testing and implementation steps to ensure we don’t introduce further complications. However, as a temporary measure, you can use the SQL method we provided to address the immediate issues on existing pages. |

Do you mean you are not able to reproduce this issue in Sandbox? You tried but the issue doesn't happen? It would be easier for us to have such test completed, as that would give us a clue on which type of the field in combination of translation preferences is potentially causing this. |

Hi Bruno, no i mean i am not able to recreate the same conditions on the sandbox, there is so many custom things made on our site, including the template. Is it possible to elevate this to someone who can do a deep dive into our code to see what really happens and how to solve it? |

I am currently working with our 2nd-tier support team to debug the issue. While we're still uncertain about the root cause, we're attempting to reproduce the problem and will keep you updated! |

Can you send me URLs of this and maybe 2-3 other pages where various fields are affected? |

I was on this page, hidden link The one from your screenshot, but its no longer there? Did you change anything on this page? The issue seems to be fixed (on this specific page). But still present on other pages, like here: hidden link (image slider missing). |

I opened the German translation and resaved the translation. It works now: This would indicate that the issue came because of this:
So from https://wpml.org/forums/topic/acf-fields-and-wpml-3/#post-16451546 Given this, if it fixes existing products it should not happen again, but translations will have to be updated so that ACF meta gets in sync. |

Hi Bruno, that sounds good i will go through the site and see if this fixes it. But, 2 questions. 1. If you edit my frontpage in any other language than Danish (main language) how to i manage the links? Right now all of them point to the danish translation, please check the screen. So that means the category menu with images all link back to the danish language. 2. I tried to set words in the Glossary list under Translation Management > Tools > Glossary. But its not working, please see screen. Even though i set "ELL Tall", it displays as "Numbers". How does this work? |

You can disregard question nr. 2, i see this works also when you resave with new content. But on all pages are all pointing to the danish language, how does this work with automatic translation? |

The behavior you're seeing is expected because the translation settings for that field are set to **COPY**. This means the link is duplicated from the default language, and it cannot be manually edited or translated. To change this, set the link field to **TRANSLATE**. Navigate to the field group, select the "Expert" method at the top, and adjust the link field settings to "Translate." |
