Hey,

sure will do asap (maybe this evening or latest tomorrow)

Ive tested the js script "fix" - the fix itself works for disabling the fields, but it does not fix the issue with the terms not being selected.

regards

Hey,

first of all happy new years 😉

I wasnt able to make the video until now but i finally managed to setup everything on the dev env with bricks and code snippets etc.

Video once again in the drive (#6): hidden link

Summary:
The bug with the translated terms not being correctly selected seems to be acf extend related.
But i found another bug that seems to be wpml / acf related. I was able to narrow it down as you can see in the video, because this bug does only happen in a certain translation situation.

If you can confirm my theory please let me know so i can report the terms not beeing selected at all issue to acf extend.

regards

Hello there,

I have escalated the mentioned issue to our 2nd tier supporters, it looks like it only happens with post types and taxonomies created using the ACF plugin itself.

Regarding the "The bug with the translated terms not being correctly selected seems to be ACF extend related." I suggest you contact them and ask about it.

Look forward to your reply.

Thanks
