Background of the issue:
I have a Custom post type created in functions.php and a Group of fields created with ACF. This Group of fields has 4 fields, and I need only one to be 'Translate', while the others should be 'Copy'. In WPML, Groups of fields is translatable. I have created English and Spanish versions from the original Catalan group of fields. In these versions, the 'Descripció' field is the only one set as 'Translate' in the three languages. In ACF multilingual setup, 'Expert' is enabled.
Symptoms:
In the EN and ES edit page, I expected to see the 'Descripció' field to write it in other languages using the WordPress Editor. Instead, I don't see the field.
Questions:
Why is the 'Descripció' field not appearing in the EN and ES edit pages?
Is there a specific setting in WPML or ACF that I might have missed?
While you wait for my colleague to take over the ticket, let me try to help you with the issue quickly.
You should not set ACF field group translatable, if you check your shared images, you can see there is a message at top page mentioning this. Please follow that message link and set your ACF group as not translatable, deleting 2nd language group before doing so, and making sure you have a backup.
Hi Drazen,
I've deleted English and Spanish groups, and then changed ACF groups as not translatable and the custom field Descripcio as 'translate'. But it stills doesn't appear in English and Spanish when editing a post.
After making the changes, did you update the page/post in question? Please edit it in the default language, make a small change and update, then access the translation -- does it work OK?
Now if I change WordPress Editor to WPML Translation Editor, I see the field to translate from Catalan to English and Spanish. This is already an improvement, although I would like to be able to use the WordPress editor to edit translations.
What are your results if for the same page you switch to the WP editor now ? Is it still not showing ?
IF yes, please sahre with me the URL to a page/post we can test and I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to test the issue.
(preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible)

I often use the Duplicator plugin for this purpose: http://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/

Hi there, Bobby is off for a bit so I'm stepping in to help out with this ticket. Please let me know if you have a dev site where we can test minimal settings - meaning only WPML plugins active with a default theme. If not, you can use the Duplicator plugin to share a copy of your site that I can set up locally to test this. Thanks!
