This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You are trying to translate the link text of the link field in the Advanced Translation Editor, but it's not showing up. The ACF Link fields are not visible in the editor.
Solution:
We recommend setting the field group to "Expert" mode and marking the content and button fields as translatable. This adjustment should make the fields appear in the Advanced Translation Editor. Additionally, check if there are multiple fields with the same slug, as this can cause a conflict. If so, rename one of the fields to resolve the issue.

If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, please check the related known issues and confirm that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem persists, we highly recommend opening a new support ticket for further assistance. You can do so at the WPML support forum.

Hello,

Here is a video of my findings : hidden link

I understand that this is not a direct solution as I don't have much detail with the short time we have, but try resetting themes, assign a test block on the same field, changing the translation settings of the custom field group to "fields across languages" and finally, add another field to the flexible content to refresh the field.

Best,

Hi Ilyes,

Thanks for all the support, we really appreciate your effort.

However this does not fix the issue for us. We've already tried adding new links and this works fine, those are translatable. However because we're working on a multisite with a shared theme we can't change these buttons as that would result in the other sites losing content.

Therefor we need to have the current buttons work. There seems to be a mismatch in the settings and the DB. It's just that some of the current links are not translating.

Could you please find out why the current buttons in the "Content Links" blocks are not translating?

Hey there,

Ilyes is on vacation for a few days, so I will take over the ticket during his absence.

I checked this out but so far I couldn't find a fix for it.

I asked my colleagues to have a look at this issue in order to see if there's anything I'm missing.

I'll come back here as soon as one of my colleagues reply back to me (which it shouldn't take long).

Thanks,

Hi,

Thank you for your patience while this was investigated.

I’ve made some adjustments on your site. After setting the field group to "Expert" mode and marking the content and button fields as translatable, I was able to see them in the Advanced Translation Editor (ATE).

Additionally, I found that there were multiple fields with the same slug, which was causing a conflict. I renamed one of the fields to resolve this issue.

Please test the staging site, check the home page translation on your side and let me know if everything works as expected now.

Best regards,
Mateus
