This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client was experiencing issues with string translations in the advanced search fields of their website. The main language was set to Dutch, but every 10 minutes, the fields displayed in another language.
Solution:
We recommended the client to deactivate any cache plugins and ensure all WPML plugins were up to date. After updating, if necessary, we advised performing another translation to see if the issue persisted. We also provided a link to the String Translation feature for the client to translate the strings and a link to the theme options to correct the primary language if it was incorrect.
If you're experiencing a similar issue, we recommend you try the following steps:
1. Deactivate any cache plugins you are using.
2. Ensure all WPML plugins are up to date.
3. Use the String Translation feature to translate the strings. You can find it here: WPML String Translation documentation.
4. If the primary language is incorrect, correct it in the theme options.
5. Perform another translation to check if the issue is resolved.

Hi, We are currently having issues with our string translations on our advanced search fields. Dutch is our main language, but every 10 minutes it displays another languages in these fields.

When we correct in in the theme and correct check all stringtranslations, we can see the correct translations, but after 10 minutes it changes to another language

Dear Kor,

We checked and deactivated all plugins but could not find the issue. The field labels in Dutch keep changing every 10 minutes.

Would it be ok to give you a login if you provide me your email address? This way you could see yourself what the situation is, so that you might find an answer.

Apologies for the delay over the weekend. Please attempt to translate the strings using the String Translation feature here: hidden link . Locate the strings and proceed with the translation.

If the primary language is incorrect, please rectify it first in the theme options here:hidden link . Once corrected, proceed with the translation.

Hi Kor,

I have repeated this process, but each time when I put everything correct it changes back to another language.

All necessary string translations have beed added, but the labels in the theme options keep changing to another language every 10 minutes.

Please let me know if you can dig in deeper to find the issue that is causing this change.

Could you clone the site to another staging site so that I could troubleshoot this further?

Please note that it is important to have a backup for security purposes and to prevent any potential data loss. You can use the UpdraftPlus plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/updraftplus/) to fulfill your backup requirements.

✙ To resolve the issue, I may need your consent to deactivate and reactivate plugins and the theme, as well as make configuration changes on the site if necessary. This emphasizes the significance of having a backup.

Hi Kor,

My colleague has checked another cache plugin together with our hosting plugin and found the error.

The last 24h everything at WPML stayed correctly. Therefore I think we can now close the ticket. Thank you for your assistance.
