Background of the issue:
I am working on a site under development and trying to import a demo website. I noticed that after I disabled 'WPML Sticky Links', the import process worked smoothly.

Symptoms:
No specific issue or error message mentioned, but disabling 'WPML Sticky Links' resolved the import issue.

Questions:
I think WPML Sticky Links is necessary. And you need to update the plugin. Am I right?

Hi,

thanks for contacting us.

WPML Sticky Links is not a mandatory plugin - it's mostly a legacy plugin but without knowing your case use I can't tell if you need it or not.

The debug information shouldn't be related to any of the addons, so if you can't see them you might have a bigger issue than Sticky Links.

If you can't provide debug information from WPML > Support, we'll need your site's credentials to take a better look.

Dear Laura:
Hi!
I backuped my web then I did a test.
I made WPML Sticky Links be actived.
Then i uninstalled the demo website.
Then I install it again.
There is no error message now.

So there is no problem at present.

Thanks! 🙂
