This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client's API token key generated for linking to AST language services is not being accepted.

Solution:
1. We recommend checking for connection errors by navigating to WPML -> Support -> Advanced Translation Editor logs.
2. If no errors are found, the issue may lie with the token itself. In this case, contact AST support to verify if the token is correct and functional.
3. Should AST provide a new token, update it in the translation services settings within WPML and attempt to test the connection again.

Please note that this solution might not be applicable if it's outdated or not relevant to your specific case. If after trying the suggested steps the issue persists, we encourage you to open a new support ticket. We also highly recommend checking the related known issues, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Hello there,

Thank you for contacting our support.

Can you please go to WPML -> Support -> Advanced Translation Editor logs and see if you can find any connection errors in there?

If not, this might be some issue with the token itself, if the token is correctly sent to AST and they're not able to validate it, then it could be necessary for you to reach out to AST support to ask them to review the token to see if it is correct and functional.

If they provide you with a new token, you can update it in the translation services setting and test the connection once more.

Thank you, please let us know.

Mateus
